Let’s play games! Group games, board games and minute to win it games. Learn Putt -Putt Golf, Nerf tag and indoor and outdoor activities. Campers will learn teamwork and build up others, good sportsmanship. We also build on Communication skills   and Problem-solving skills. Foam Party/ Water Day at the end of the week. Bring a towel and change of clothes. Please provide water bottles and snacks.

Color, Light & Chemistry Science

Get ready for a vibrant week of discovery where science comes to life! In our camps we will explore how colors mix and change, how light travels and reflects, and how simple chemical reactions create exciting results. Campers will conduct colorful chemistry experiments, design glow-in-the-dark art, glow in the dark scavenger hunt, Slime and explore reactions that fizz, bubble, and transform right before their eyes. Each day encourages curiosity, problem-solving, and teamwork while boosting confidence in STEM learning.

For the experienced engineer! Focus on complex problem-solving and iterative design using advanced sensors and Python-based logic to tackle high-stakes engineering challenges

Create a zoo from scratch! Build habitats using craft materials like cardboard and paint, then populate them with robotic animals programmed to move realistically. This program blends construction, biology, and robotics into one adventure.

A forward-looking camp that prepares kids for an AI-integrated future. Students learn a strategy game, use Generative AI as a programming partner, and then code their own digital version with an AI opponent that learns from every match.

Swiss-style tournament and multiple sections tailored to different age groups! Players will compete in 4 to 5 thrilling games, showcasing their strategic prowess. Top 3 finishers in each age section will walk away with Trophies or Medals, plus Certificates of Achievement to commemorate their victory.

These are NOT USCF RATED tournaments but designed similar to USCF Scholastic tournament.

Tournaments will be held 4:45-7:15 p.m.

Nick "Lucky" Strohla is a USPTA certified coach and 3x national team adult qualifier who has been coaching for over 10 years in Prosper. Andrew Kochevar is a product of Prosper High School and has been coaching in Prosper for six years and running the Town program for the last two.

Beginner

Our Beginner Tennis Program is designed for students who are new to the sport or have limited experience. This welcoming and supportive environment focuses on building a solid foundation of tennis skills while fostering a love for the game. Participants will learn the basics of tennis through fun drills, games, and match play.

Intermediate

Our Intermediate Tennis Class is tailored for players who have a basic understanding of the game and are eager to take their skills to the next level. Whether you’ve just started competing in school tournaments or are looking to enter the competitive scene, this program will provide the tools and techniques necessary to enhance your performance on the court.

Advanced UTR 2.0+

Our Advanced Tennis Program is designed for competitive players currently participating in tournaments and holding a Universal Tennis Rating (UTR). This elite program focuses on refining skills, enhancing strategic play, and improving overall performance on the court.

Pick one day a week and you will have 5 classes a session. Prices are shown as a full session.

Soccer Sparks skills classes offer age-appropriate soccer classes for kids ages 2 to 12 in a low pressure, high skill learning environment. The Soccer Sparks approach utilizes fun and games so that children develop a passion for soccer without the stress of competitive play. Taught by USSF Nationally Certified coaches, Soccer Sparks' “all-ball” training techniques help kids meet their maximum potential while emphasizing fair play and enjoyment of the sport.

Kickin’ with the Parents - Ages 2 to 3

Parent and child soccer! By playing fun games, children improve their blossoming balance, coordination, and general motor skills. Aside from learning how to dribble and strike a soccer ball, children and parents also get the opportunity to share those first, unforgettable, goal-scoring adventures together.

Kick the Ball! - Ages 3 to 4

Kick the ball! This class is designed to help kids develop their large motor skills and get them running, dribbling, and kicking the ball while having lots of fun. The kids learn the very basics of the game through skill demonstrations and games as they transition from parent assisted to individual participation.

Dribble, Kick, Pass! - Ages 4 to 5

Dribble, kick, and pass! This class is designed to spark an early passion for the game in young players. This class will encourage greater retention of foundational soccer skills such as dribbling, passing, and shooting in a positive environment. Our curriculum includes fun and energetic games that teach kids about playing within a group.  

Youth Soccer - Ages 6 to 9

Dazzle with your footwork! This class utilizes the ‘all ball’ approach to foster skill improvement and build player confidence. Players will learn to solidify such skills as dribbling, passing, trapping, receiving, juggling, and accurate shooting in a supportive team environment.

Youth Soccer - Ages 9 to 12

This class will introduce the fundamental soccer techniques along with intermediate skills such as dribbling, passing and shooting. Based on the soccer game, the class will involve plenty of diverse movements and provide a great physical exercise and development.

Beginner Basketball Camp

Beginner Basketball Camp is designed for players of all skills and abilities that are looking for a serious and fun basketball experience. We focus on individual dribbling skills, passing, and shooting, but learn team concepts to put all the pieces together. This is a skill-based program which utilizes drills and games to reinforce skills being taught. Part of each class time will be used for game scrimmages. Bring a snack, water and gym shoes.

Basketball Tech Camp

Basketball TECH Camp is designed for players of all skills and abilities that are looking for a serious and fun basketball experience. Dodgeball

Our ultra-popular program includes several versions of Dodgeball. The emphasis is on fun, teamwork and exercise. We will play many different versions of the classic game using the new coated foam balls. These balls are perfect for safe FUN play! Groups are divided based on ages. Please bring a snack and gym shoes.

Flag Football TECH Camp

Flag Football TECH is a combination of QB skills clinic and a traditional flag football program. During this program, players will learn drills and exercises including passing and receiving as well as defensive coverage. Players learn plays, routes and become familiar with football formations and basics. We also allow time at each program for scrimmage. All equipment supplied. Bring Water and a snack.

Speed Sports Multi Camp

Speed Sports is a multi-sport camp that is super-fast and ACTIVE. During this program, players play capture the flag, and group games. Part of the program is used to drill speed movements and we time 40 yard and 5-10-5 pro shuttle. We also allow time at each program for scrimmage. All equipment supplied. Bring Water and a snack.

Rookies Multi Camp

Rookies Multi Sports is a multi-sport camp that is super-fast and ACTIVE. During this program, players play capture the flag, and group games. Throwing and catching, tag-based games and the drill speed movements and to learn it all correctly. We also allow time for scrimmage. All equipment supplied. Bring Water and a snack

Fishing Camp

Prosper Frontier Park Fish Camp is an unforgettable experience that leaves you hooked on old school FUN. Our camp caters to all skill levels, offering hands-on experiences in knot tying, lure exploration, live bait techniques, and casting clinics. Campers are encouraged to bring their own poles and tackle for personalized guidance. If they don’t have equipment, we will have some to share.

Our Shine program uses soccer to teach life skills to children with developmental challenges. Our coaches use a curriculum designed by educators and child therapists to help children progress while encouraging them to work at their own pace. Our coaches take you & your little one through exciting activities.

Shining Soccer Stars Parent & Me Ages 2-5

This class will focus on simplifying soccer into specific components, while teammates work together to build new skills in a fun, non-competitive class. Our puppet friends, Mimi and Pepe, take you and your little one through exciting activities. 

Shining Soccer Stars Ages 6-9

Our program teaches soccer skills in a fun, non-competitive educational environment. We use soccer to promote socialization, strengthen peer interactions and advance gross and fine motor skills.

Shining Soccer Stars Ages 10+

Participants will learn soccer skills in a fun, non-competitive educational environment. We use soccer to promote socialization, strengthen peer interactions and advance gross and fine motor skills. In this group, we focus on social skills and emphasize the importance of teamwork.

Novice 1 and Beginner 1: 4:50-5:50 p.m.

Explore fundamental chess concepts such as the board, its pieces, rules, and phases of the game. Students will learn basic tactics, game positions, material advantage, exchanges, calculate simple exchanges (or trades). The Novice Level 1 is for participants with no prior chess training and have a little knowledge/ experience with chess, who do NOT have established chess rating or their rating is < 200.

 Novice 2 and Beginner 2: 6-7 p.m.

 Students will learn game positions and piece strengths/ weaknesses. Better way to activate pieces and gain control of the board. They will also learn notations and advanced calculation of exchanges, and basic checkmate patterns. The Novice 2 level is for participants with a chess rating between 300 to 600.

This level teaches transitional tactics between Novice and Intermediate. Students will learn complex exchanges and calculations, how to control the opponent territory, advanced checkmate patterns, positional play, use of their pieces effectively, piece harmony, and pawn formations all while enhancing their chess foundation! This level is for students with a chess rating of 600 to 1000. 

NO CLASS OCT.12TH 

Students who do not know their chess rating can find it by signing-up creating your ID on chess.com. Once you create your ID, play about 15 to 20 RAPID games (Game timer of 10 or 15|10)

UIL Chess Puzzle contests require students to chess puzzles solve paper-and-pencil based chess puzzles with chess diagrams, rather than playing live matches. 

Tests consist of approximately 20 multiple-choice or fill-in-the-blank puzzles and include a 5-minute tiebreaker section. 

Contestants calculate the best moves, analyze material advantages, and solve checkmate sequences within 30 minutes.

This course is focused on preparing the participants for a better success in UIL chess contest!

The course is broken down in 4 levels: (after the 1st class your level will be determined).

L1: Novice (Level 1: new player)

L2: Beginner (Level 2)

L3: Intermediate (Level 3)

L4: Advanced (Level 4)

Key Concepts and Skills covered in this course: 

Checkmate and Stalemate: Determining the fewest moves to checkmate or forcing a stalemate to draw when behind in material.

Chess Notation: Reading and writing piece movements and locations accurately.

Chess pieces and science behind them! : Knowing the relative points of pawns, knights, bishops, rooks, and queens to evaluate trades. 

Opening Principles and solving puzzles related to getting early success in the opening. 

Tactics: A different set if twctics are covered at each level. For exampe: Novice level will cover Identifying forks, skewers, pins, and en passant captures.

While all learnings are primarily focused towards solving chess puzzles, the concepts and learnings also helps participants to become a better chess player in general!
