Nick "Lucky" Strohla is a USPTA certified coach and 3x national team adult qualifier who has been coaching for over 10 years in Prosper. Andrew Kochevar is a product of Prosper High School and has been coaching in Prosper for 6 years and running the Town program for the last 2. Beginner Our Beginner Tennis Program is designed for students who are new to the sport or have limited experience. This welcoming and supportive environment focuses on building a solid foundation of tennis skills while fostering a love for the game. Participants will learn the basics of tennis through fun drills, games, and match play. Intermediate Our Intermediate Tennis Class is tailored for players who have a basic understanding of the game and are eager to take their skills to the next level. Whether you’ve just started competing in school tournaments or are looking to enter the competitive scene, this program will provide the tools and techniques necessary to enhance your performance on the court. Advanced UTR 2.0+ Our Advanced Tennis Program is designed for competitive players currently participating in tournaments and holding a Universal Tennis Rating (UTR). | Prosper Chess Academy - 2026 Spring | REGISTER |
Novice 1: 4:50-5:50 p.m. Explore fundamental chess concepts such as the board, its pieces, rules, and phases of the game. Students will learn basic tactics, game positions, material advantage, exchanges, calculate simple exchanges (or trades). The Novice Level 1 is for participants with no prior chess training and have a little knowledge/ experience with chess, who do NOT have established chess rating or their rating is < 200. Novice 2: 4:50-5:50 p.m. Students will learn game positions and piece strengths/ weaknesses. Better way to activate pieces and gain control of the board. They will also learn notations and advanced calculation of exchanges, and basic checkmate patterns. The Novice 2 level is for participants with a chess rating between 300 to 600. Beginner 1: 6-7 p.m. | Beginner 2: 6-7 p.m. Beginner Level is broken down into two parts: Beginner 1 and Beginner 2, as the beginner level course is too long to be completed in just 8 weeks! This level teaches transitional tactics between Novice and Intermediate. Students will learn complex exchanges and calculations, how to control the opponent territory, advanced checkmate patterns, positional play, use of their pieces effectively, piece harmony, and pawn formations all while enhancing their chess foundation! Soccer Sparks skills classes offer age-appropriate soccer classes for kids ages 2 to 12 in a low pressure, high skill learning environment. The Soccer Sparks approach utilizes fun and games so that children develop a passion for soccer without the stress of competitive play. Taught by USSF Nationally Certified coaches, Soccer Sparks' “all-ball” training techniques help kids meet their maximum potential while emphasizing fair play and enjoyment of the sport. Kickin’ with the Parents - Ages 2 to 3 Parent and child soccer! By playing fun games, children improve their blossoming balance, coordination, and general motor skills. Aside from learning how to dribble and strike a soccer ball, children and parents also get the opportunity to share those first, unforgettable, goal-scoring adventures together. Kick the Ball! - Ages 3 to 4 Kick the ball! This class is designed to help kids
develop their large motor skills and get them running, dribbling, and kicking

Dribble, Kick, Pass! - Ages 4 to 5 Dribble, kick, and pass! This class is designed
to spark an early passion for the game in young players. This class will
encourage greater retention of foundational soccer skills such as dribbling,
passing, and shooting in a positive environment. Our curriculum includes fun
and energetic games that teach kids about playing within a group.
Youth Soccer - Ages 6 to 9 Dazzle with your footwork! This class utilizes
the ‘all ball’ approach to foster skill improvement and build player
confidence. Players will learn to solidify such skills as dribbling, passing,
trapping, receiving, juggling, and accurate shooting in a supportive team
environment.

bring a snack and gym shoes. Flag Football TECH Camp Flag Football TECH is a combination of QB skills clinic and
a traditional flag football program. During this program, players will learn
drills and exercises including passing and receiving as well as defensive
coverage. Players learn plays, routes and become familiar with football formations
and basics. We also allow time at each program for scrimmage. All equipment
supplied. Bring Water and a snack. Speed Sports Multi Camp Speed Sports is a multi-sport camp that is super-fast and
ACTIVE. During this program, players play capture the flag, and group games.
Part of the program is used to drill speed movements and we time 40 yard and
5-10-5 pro shuttle. We also allow time at each program for scrimmage. All
equipment supplied. Bring Water and a snack. Rookies Multi Camp Rookies Multi Sports is a multi-sport camp that is super-fast
and ACTIVE. During this program, players play capture the flag, and group
games. Throwing and catching, tag-based games and the drill speed movements and
to learn it all correctly. We also allow time for scrimmage. All equipment
supplied. Bring Water and a snack Fishing Camp Prosper Frontier Park Fish Camp is an unforgettable experience that leaves you hooked on old school FUN. Our camp caters to all skill levels, offering hands-on experiences in knot tying, lure exploration, live bait techniques, and casting clinics. Bharatanatyam, the most widely practiced form of Indian Classical dances in the world, is considered to be over 2000 years old from South India. A Bharatanatyam dancer is a storyteller who evokes and creates dramatic images through her eyes, body, and gestures. Beginner 1: 6-7 p.m. | Beginner 2: 6-7 p.m. Beginner Level is broken down into two parts: Beginner 1 and Beginner 2, as the beginner level course is too long to be completed in just 8 weeks! This level teaches transitional tactics between Novice and Intermediate. Students will learn complex exchanges and calculations, how to control the opponent territory, advanced checkmate patterns, positional play, use of their pieces effectively, piece harmony, and pawn formations all while enhancing their chess foundation! This level is for students with a chess rating of 600 to 1000. Students who do not know their chess rating can find it by signing-up creating your ID on chess.com. Once you create your ID, play about 15 to 20 RAPID games (Game timer of 10 or 15|10) |

Nick "Lucky" Strohla is a USPTA certified coach and 3x national team adult qualifier who has been coaching for over 10 years in Prosper. Andrew Kochevar is a product of Prosper High School and has been coaching in Prosper for six years and running the Town program for the last two. Beginner Our Beginner Tennis Program is designed for students who are new to the sport or have limited experience.
