ACTIVE ADULT 55+ ACTIVITIES


Prosper offers a variety of programs designed just for Active Adults aged 55 and better! From top-notch fitness and art instructors to expert-led monthly lectures, there’s a place for you! Enjoy weekly social time, games, Bingo, bowling, and exciting day trips to make connections and have some fun. Need a little help? Scholarships are available for financial assistance, and our Heroes and Helpers Program offers special discounts for military members, veterans, first responders, and Prosper ISD employees!

Book Club - June Session

Wednesday, June 18th | 2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. | Prosper Community Library 200 S. Main St.

Discover new stories, share insights, and connect with fellow book enthusiasts at our book club organized by the Prosper Community Library! We meet every two months. Our next book is "The God of the Woods" by Liz Moore. 

No fee or registration required.

Cash Bingo

Mondays | 1:00 p.m. *Summer Location Change*: Prosper Town Hall Community Room 250 W. First St. Prosper, TX, 75078

Every Monday. $10 for 10 games with 3 chances to win per game. We will pay out up to $10 per game, depending on amount of players. Any amount leftover will be raffled off. No registration required. Daubers are provided!


Bowling

Tuesdays | 1:00 p.m. | Strikz Entertainment - 8789 Lebanon Rd, Frisco, TX 75034

Join us every Tuesday for a fun-filled afternoon of bowling, meeting new people, getting exercise, and sharing laughter. Our laid-back group is not a league; there are no obligations, penalties, competition, or teams. You're welcome to come once or on a weekly basis, and we encourage bowlers of all skill levels to join us! Whether you score an 85 or a 185, you'll feel right at home. Registration is not required.

$12 per week due at the door. This covers three games and shoes. You only pay for the weeks you play.

Dominoes

Canasta

Thursdays | 12:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. *Summer Location Change*: Prosper Town Hall Community Room 250 W. First St. Prosper, TX, 75078

Score points by making as many melds as possible, including Canastas.


The Prosper Parks & Recreation Department offers notary services for certifications and official forms. Our staff is available to assist you with your notarization needs!

Senior Strength - 2025 Summer REGISTER

Increase physical strength through weight bearing and resistance exercises.

Work all major muscle groups from head to toe.

Finish with core training and stretching for a complete workout!

$12 a class when you register for the entire month, OR $15 to drop in.

Chair Yoga - 2025 Summer REGISTER

Chair yoga is great for those with limited mobility, vertigo, or those who have a sedentary lifestyle. Chair Yoga allows the yoga instructor to adapt postures making it accessible to everyone. A chair practice incorporates all of the tools of a regular yoga class such as deep breathing, postures and relaxation. The student receives the same benefits as a mat class without the difficulty of getting on the floor.
