Parks & Recreation hosts PISD's Family Resource Center's Game On! during the summer. We invite Prosper ISD kids and teens to visit us at The 407 Rec Center, 407 E. First St., right across the street from the Mahard Family Resource Center, to practice skills while playing games and making new friends. We will have board and card games inside The 407 and yard games next door at Boyer Park. Guardians are required to stay near their participants.
We are looking for 10-17-year-old volunteers to play with our friends with special needs at Game On! As a volunteer, you will socialize, play board games/yard games, and assist with clean up/take down. To volunteer for Game On!, please fill out the Parent/Guardian Release Form.
Game On! is held on Wednesdays from 5-5:45 p.m.
Links to RSVP will be active on May 1st and will close at noon on the day of the scheduled Game On!! Once live, click "RSVP" for the date you would like to attend. When the form is completed, you are all set for Game On!

| Adaptive Shining Soccer Stars - 2025 Summer | REGISTER |
Our Shine program uses soccer to teach life skills to children with developmental challenges. Our coaches use a curriculum designed by educators and child therapists to help children progress while encouraging them to work at their own pace. Our coaches take you & your little one through exciting activities. Shining Soccer Stars Parent & Me Ages 1-3 This class will focus on simplifying soccer into specific components, while teammates work together to build new skills in a fun, non competitive class. Our puppet friends, Mimi and Pepe, take you and your little one through exciting activities. Shining Soccer Stars Ages 4-10 Our program teaches soccer skills in a fun, non-competitive educational environment. We use soccer to promote socialization, strengthen peer interactions and advance gross and fine motor skills. Shining Soccer Stars Ages 10+ Participants will learn soccer skills in a fun, non-competitive educational environment. We use soccer to promote socialization, strengthen peer interactions and advance gross and fine motor skills. In this group, we focus on social skills and emphasize the importance of teamwork. A one time $30 material fee is required the first day of class and includes an Adidas jersey & soccer ball. This fee is required only for new participants. Returning participants do not need to pay this fee again.
