This group aims to create a supportive and welcoming environment where participants can engage in fun, fulfilling, and skill-building activities that promote physical, emotional, and social well-being. Parks & Recreation hosts PISD's Family Resource Center's Game On! during the summer. We invite Prosper ISD kids and teens to visit us at The 407 Rec Center, 407 E. First St., right across the street from the Mahard Family Resource Center, to practice skills while playing games and making new friends. We will have board and card games inside The 407 and yard games next door at Boyer Park. Guardians are required to stay near their participants.
We are looking for 10-17-year-old volunteers to play with our friends with special needs at Game On! As a volunteer, you will socialize, play board games/yard games, and assist with clean up/take down. To volunteer for Game On!, please fill out the Parent/Guardian Release Form.
Game On! is held on Wednesdays from 5-5:45 p.m.
Links to RSVP will be active on May 1st and will close at noon on the day of the scheduled Game On!! Once live, click "RSVP" for the date you would like to attend. When the form is completed, you are all set for Game On!
